What is Basic Disaster Awareness Training?

Disasters are events that can occur at any moment of life. It is therefore crucial that individuals and organizations are prepared for such situations. OWLAQ offers comprehensive trainings for disasters and emergencies with Turkish Mountaineering Federation coaches and expert staff. Our trainings aim to increase the effective response competencies of the participants in case of a disaster by supporting theoretical knowledge with practical drills.

Who Can Participate?

These trainings are suitable for all individuals and organizations that want to be prepared for disasters and emergencies. It is especially recommended for public and private sector employees, school staff, health workers and volunteer teams.

  • Use of a work seat
  • Climb with fall arrest lanyard
  • Rescue and transportation
  • Sling trauma
  • Techniques for rescue from downloading device and booster rope
  • Rescue techniques
  • Reel systems

Evaluation

Theoretical / Practice Exam

Certificate

The Certificate of Achievement must be renewed before the end of 3 years.
