What is Work at Height & Rescue Trainer Training?

In emergencies that may occur during work at height, a quick and correct rescue intervention saves lives. This training aims to train trainers who will teach rescue activities to be performed in cases such as falling or hanging that may occur during working at height. Participants are provided with both theoretical and practical knowledge; they are also given the competence to give training.

Who Can Participate?

This training is suitable for people who want to become work at height trainers, occupational safety specialists, emergency team leaders and trainer candidates who will take part in work at height activities.

  • Fall factor and dynamics of falls
  • Mass protection methods and personal protection methods (passive and active systems), planning, safe installation
  • Avoiding the risks of working at height
  • Personal protective equipment
  • Recognize dangerous and unsafe situations
  • Differences and organization of working at height techniques
  • Basic nodes
  • Scaffolds and working on scaffolds
  • Railings
  • Roofs and working on roofs
  • Facade elevators
  • Mobile elevating platforms (menlift and spiders) and lifting equipment
  • Stairs
  • Climbing with a lanyard (extension rope)
  • Access and return to narrow and confined spaces
  • Safety signs
  • Determination and preparation of anchors (safety points)
